The Gay Men's Project provides help and support for men who are gay, bisexual, transgender or MSM (men who sleep with men) in the Dudley and Sandwell area.

This group runs every second Saturday of each month between 11am and 2pm and is open to all men gay, bi-sexual, transgender and men who sleep with men (MSM), from all backgrounds and cultures. This service is free of charge.

This is a non-scene group-an alternative to the commercial gay scene and is normally held at Summit House Support Ltd's premises near to Dudley town centre.

The aim of the group is to provide you with a peer group support network and new friendships in a safe and supportive environment in which you can feel free to be yourself without judgement and meet others who may be in similar situations to yourself.

We sometimes arrange group outings or have guest speakers to talk to the group about relevant services or facilities and all group members are welcome to suggest future ideas for the group.

There are ground rules for this group which everyone who attends is expected to adhere to and which are intended to ensure that everyone who comes along to the group feels safe and supported.

The service can provide you with factual, confidential and non judgemental information and advice on sexual health issues to enable you to make healthy informed choices about your sexual health. This service is free of charge. We can also provide you with free condoms, lube and sexual health literature. Sexual health issues may be related to concerns over Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI's), HIV/AIDS, where to get tested/screened in confidence, GUM clinics, relationship Issues, sexual assertiveness or some other issue.

This service can be provided either over the telephone or e-mail or by appointment with the Men's Outreach Worker (appointments available Mon afternoons, Wednesdays and Fridays).

We run a free sexual health clinic for men at Heroes Health Club, 4 Lower High Street, Stourbridge DY8 on Tuesday afternoons between 1pm and 4.30pm. You don't need an appointment, just walk-in. We offer HIV testing (20 minute results following finger prick blood test), Chlamydia testing (simple urine test), sexual health advice, information on local services and free condoms and lube.
