(This post is advertised in accordance with Section (7) of the Sex Discrimination Act 1975) Based in Dudley in the West Midlands and covering the Dudley and Sandwell Metropolitan Boroughs you will develop community centred health & social support initiatives based on local needs assessment by networking with a wide range of professionals to address health improvement issues that minimise HIV & STI transmission. Working as a member of a small team you will deliver support services to gay and HIV+ men - individually and in groups and will assist in HIV Awareness and other training. You must have current professional experience of working with the gay community and an understanding of gay men’s health issues. This role involves outreach work in public sex venues and the gay scene. Educated to degree level or equivalent.
