Positivity Group

Our monthly Positivity Group runs on the 4th Thursday of the month From 6pm to 8pm at Summit House. Snacks and refreshments are provided.

This group is ideal for those who may be:

  • Newly diagnosed as HIV+
  • Struggling to cope with their HIV diagnosis
  • Lacking confidence or awareness around HIV or treatment
  • Feeling isolated because of their HIV diagnosis
  • Have lots of questions but don't know who to ask
  • Want information around sexual partners and future sex life
  • Have questions around future health, well being and medication

This group is open to service users of all genders, sexual orientation, age or disability.

The group will focus on 'living well' with your HIV, both practically and emotionally, and will also give you the opportunity to meet and socialise with others in a supportive and safe environment who may be in a similar situation to yourself.

The group will be run on a very relaxed and friendly basis where you can be at ease to talk openly and share experiences. We can also arrange for speakers or specialists to come to talk to the group and arrange for social events too.

For further details call 01384 243220 and speak to Matt or Crystal.
