What We Do Image
Who is the group for?

The women's support group is for HIV+ women and their carers to get together, meet each other and talk in a friendly atmosphere. We hope that by providing a safe, comfortable and friendly place to meet, you can make new friends and find support and strength through meeting other positive women. Our aim is to promote living well with HIV, a positive outlook on life, a feeling of confidence and get to know there is always someone to turn to.

What do you do?

We organise a variety of activities based on ideas from the group. In the past we have organised activities such as bowling, pub meals, logo competitions, welfare talks, pamper days and trips to local visitor attractions. The group plans its own activities and people are encouraged to come along to planning days with ideas.

The group currently meets on the first Wednesday of each month from 11am to 2pm. Give Crystal a call on 07966 307 953 for more information.

If you are on a low income we can help with travel costs. Children are welcome to attend but must be supervised at all times and are the responsibility of the parent/carer. We also have free internet access and free condoms and femidoms.
